Resveratrol is a polyphenolic compound with antioxidant activity found in grapes, wine, blueberries, cranberries, and peanuts. In contrast, root extracts of Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) provide up to 50% standardised trans-resveratrol content, the same form as found in red wine.
